Voting Steps

Members who we believe are eligible to vote will receive an email containing their unique voter code.

Unlocking your ballot paper, and casting your vote:

  1. Have a look in your email inbox for an email with a link to the Mi-Voice voting page. Please check your spam folder as well.
  2. Within the email, and on the ballot page, you will see instructions on how to vote and information about the ballot. You should read the instructions carefully as you can only vote once, and you cannot change your vote later.
  3. On your ballot paper you should choose the box either in favour or against, depending on how you wish to vote.
  4. Once you’ve selected your vote, you should click the green button, “Next step” which will be visible towards the bottom of the screen.
  5. You will be taken to a summary page that sets out how you have elected to vote. Once you have reviewed your selection and you’re ready to cast your vote, you should click the button that reads: “Cast My Vote Now”.
  6. If you want to receive an email that confirms your vote has been submitted, you should enter your email address in the “Would you like us to send you a receipt?” box on the following page. You won’t receive your receipt immediately, but it will normally be received within two hours.
  7. Once the ballot has opened, if you’ve not received your email with the UVC, but you’re a Fórsa member and believe you’re entitled to vote, you should email the divisional email address:

Civil Service cshelp@forsa.ie
Education edhelp@forsa.ie
Service and Enterprises sehelp@forsa.ie
Health and Welfare hwhelp@forsa.ie
Local Government & Local Services/ Municipal lghelp@forsa.ie

Your voting code will only be re-issued to the email address you have registered with Fórsa.

Please note: The link to the ballot page will contain your ballot when it’s open to voting but may contain other ballots or surveys before then. You will not be able to vote/ take surveys for other issues/ ballots as you will not have the UVC or code.

If you are having difficulties accessing your voting code please email your divisional email with details of who you are and where you work and we’ll get back to you as soon as we can.
