Fórsa expresses shock at death of SNA

Fórsa today (Wednesday) expressed its deep shock at the death of Jacqueline McGovern, the special needs assistant (SNA) who was killed by a getaway car following a robbery in Dalkey on Tuesday evening. Jacqueline, who worked at Our Lady of Good Counsel girls’ national school, was a member of the union.

The head of Fórsa’s Education Division, Andy Pike, said: “Our hearts go out to Jacqueline’s family and friends, and to the students and colleagues in her school community. We also hope for a speedy recovery for her colleague, another SNA injured in the incident.”
