Fórsa’s delayed 2020 national delegate conference takes place on a remote basis this Thursday (19th November), and we’re live-streaming the event so that all Fórsa members can follow the contributions and debates. You can watch the conference HERE.
Originally planned for last May, the biennial event was interrupted by Covid-related public health restrictions on travel and assembly.
President Michael D Higgins will be among the guest contributors to the conference, which will also hear reports from our general secretary Kevin Callinan, Fórsa president Ann McGee, and many others. ICTU general secretary Patricia King will be sending greetings too.
There’ll also be debates on pay, working time and remote work, and Ireland’s response to the economic and social challenges of the Covid-19 pandemic.
So join us if you can. The conference kicks off at 10.30am on Thursday (19th November) and finishes around 5.00pm. President Higgins will be speaking at 12.15pm.
