Fórsa trade union has confirmed this afternoon that planned industrial action by perfusionists next week has been paused.
A dispute over the implementation of Labour Court Recommendation LCR23209 led to strike action at five hospital sites earlier this week. Planned action on Tuesday (16th) and Wednesday (17th) is now paused.
The decision follows contact from the HSE late yesterday (Thursday) confirming that LCR23209 will be included on the agenda for forthcoming engagement on a successor public service pay agreement, on the basis that all industrial action is paused.
Following detailed discussions this morning with lead representatives and the union’s dispute committee, Fórsa has agreed to pause next week’s industrial action to allow the public service talks to address this matter.
