The Labour Court made proposals on your pensions, and the Workplace Relations Commission have made proposals on these issues: Caretakers Pay Scales; Sick Leave; Acute Illness Leave; and Bereavement Leave.

Regardless of the outcome of the vote, this is a moment to say well done to everyone involved.
To have come from so little to this point has been extraordinary. It took a campaign that built strength and unity for years, a week-long strike with the whole country on your side, and negotiations for over a year that left no stone unturned.
This is as far as the current campaign can take us. Now it is down to you to decide what happens next.
What the ballot results would mean:
A Yes Vote would mean:
- Accepting the progress that has been made to date, with the immediate and substantial benefits that come with it but not the full package that we all wanted.
- Begin building the next steps in your campaign.
A No Vote would mean:
- The industrial relations mechanisms (Labour Court and WRC) have been exhausted (used to the maximum), so are no longer an option in this instance.
- Strike action for far longer than a week would be needed.
- Unfortunately, there would be no guarantees that new/ longer strikes would see better results, or even the same results remaining as an option.
