Fórsa’s Salary Protection Scheme for Civil and Public Servants is administered by Cornmarket Group Financial Services Ltd. Fórsa’s salary protection (also known as income protection), is designed to provide you with a replacement income of up to 75% of your annual salary* if you’re ill or injured, and can’t work. It helps give financial security and peace of mind, at a time when you need it most.

Terms and conditions

*Salary Protection provides a replacement income of up to 75% of your annual salary less any other income that you may be entitled to (e.g. half pay, Ill Health Early Retirement Pension, Temporary Rehabilitation Remuneration, State Illness Benefit or State Invalidity Pension). To be eligible to claim from the Scheme, you must meet the definition of disablement as defined in the policy document and exhaust the deferred period of the Scheme. **This is a summary of the key benefits available to members of the Scheme. Members of the Clerical Officer & Executive Grade Schemes prior to 1st June 2022 who have opted out of the Death Benefits, Specified Illness Benefits and Medical Immunity Benefit during the opt out period are not covered for those benefits. Please refer to the Scheme Summary Booklet for full details.

****You must be in receipt of Disability Benefit for at least 3 continuous months to be eligible for Cornmarket’s Tax Return Service (only available for claims admitted after 1st June 2022).
